There are some changes coming to the mortgage insurance premium that will result in higher costs on a monthly basis.

For people intending to purchase homes this year, and have the opportunity to move sooner than later, please be aware of a change in policy.

For buyers intending to use FHA or CHFA with FHA insurance will have their costs automatically increase by .25% (the increase to their monthly MI insurance), if you have not applied for a mortgage and been assigned a case number by April 18th. The approximate increase will be $ 41.67 a month on a $200,000.00 loan.

If you have the ability to do this please take advantage of it.

If you need assistance in locating the perfect home or want a proven professional that can guide you through the home buying process, then call me so we can get you going.
